The main house has a tiny gift shop, offices, and a few paintings and artifacts donated from some of the first families of Oshawa.

It's a set of three small historical houses which were built on the Lakeside in the 1800's.

It was the loveliest experience! I will definetly come back again! Beautiful, intimate Victorian tea and tour of historical home. Wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars!

The museum is located right next to the beach and there's a playground with splash pad, the harbour, and paths to walk down if you want to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the outdoors.

Five bucks per person gets you a tour of the other two houses- one a schoolhouse (very neat! Kids got a kick out of it -"what's a Dunce cap?"
